CRIME CHECK: Man robs woman who worked in night cleaning

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Crime Stoppers are asking for your help in identifying a man who robbed a woman while she was working overnight.
The female victim is a member of the nightclub crew at a business on East New Circle Road in Lexington. Police said she parked her car right outside the back door on September 7, where she could have easy access to the building late at night, but when she returned from her shift, she found her broken-in car.
The owners of the business canceled the surveillance footage and discovered the crime had occurred around 4 a.m. Her purse and everything in it was gone.
“She had $ 1,000 of valuables in there, including her wedding ring,” the detective said. Anthony Delimpo of the Lexington Police Department and Crime Stoppers Coordinator. “She’s lost all of her credit cards, Social Security, all of her precious credentials. So there was a lot of stress about what was going to happen to my identity.
