Crime Stoppers seeks public assistance for vehicle thefts by local businesses

Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers is asking the public for help in solving his crime of the week: a major theft at two local businesses.

At some point between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, two utility vehicles were stolen from C&B Operations: a 2022 John Deere Gator (4×2 TX model) and a John Deere compact utility tractor. A skid steer loader was also stolen from Scott Supply.

The John Deere compact utility tractor and skid steer loader were both recovered, but as of November 16, the 2022 John Deere Gator was still missing.

Those with information about this incident or suspicious activity in the area are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 605-996-1700. Callers do not have to identify themselves and a cash reward is available for information that leads to the arrest of the subject (s) involved.

A minimum of $ 250 is paid for rewards on all “Crimes of the Weeks” resolved through Crime Stoppers. Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers, Inc. is offering this award. Rewards will not be paid if criminal reports, leading to arrest, are not forwarded directly to Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers, Inc. by telephone or web whistleblower.

To date, 353 crimes have been solved using information from Crime Stoppers.
