Crime Stoppers: Stolen Store Sign

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – Bowling Green police say Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, a digital billboard was removed from a business located on the 31W U.S. Bypass. The panel had been taken down for repairs after the tornado, but was fully functional.

Surveillance video from a nearby business shows a white Chevrolet truck with a trailer pulling into the parking lot. Four men get out of the vehicle, load the panel and two poles, then leave. All four men wore blue jeans.

A man wore a bright yellow hoodie. The second man was wearing a plaid flannel shirt. The third wore a blue work jacket. The fourth man was driving the truck. He had glasses and a beard, and wore a green hoodie and a dark colored knit beanie.

The truck is a white Chevrolet Z-71 extended cab 4×4 with a tool box and running boards, and pulled a 12-15 foot flatbed trailer.
