Haryana Judicial Services Review will be postponed due to conflicting dates

Haryana’s judicial services (sector) review, which was scheduled for May 6-8, was postponed by the Supreme Court on Wednesday because it conflicted with the Madhya Pradesh civil judge’s review.

The Supreme Court ordered the Punjab and Haryana High Court to notify it of any postponed review date and set a hearing date for May 9.

The hearing on a motion to postpone the Haryana Civil Service (Judiciary) Main Examination, 2021, on the grounds that it conflicted with the date of the Madhya Pradesh Civil Judge Preliminary Examination , Junior Division Examination (Entry Level), 2021, has been adjourned to May 4 by a panel led by Judge Vineet Saran.

After the petitioner’s lawyer said that a copy of the petition would be served on the Haryana lawyer later in the day, the hearing was adjourned.

HJS MAINS EXAM POSTPONED ONCE BEFORE

The HJS (Mains) exams were originally scheduled to take place between April 22-24. The dates have been moved to May 6-8 to avoid a conflict with the Delhi Judicial Service (DJS) preliminary examination, which was scheduled for April 24.
