Homicide suspect added to Laredo Crime Stoppers most wanted list



The search continues for the man accused of fatally shooting another man and leaving him inside a white car near La Pulga Guadalupe.

Laredo Crime Stoppers lists Fabricio Perez, 44, as its most wanted suspect. Perez has an active murder warrant from the Laredo Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person sitting inside a white Mercedes-Benz around 8 a.m. Aug. 18 in the 2500 block of Guadalupe Street near North Texas Avenue near La Pulga Guadalupe.

The first officers on the scene confirmed that the man had been shot and killed. Police identified him as Julio Cesar Flores, 27. His death marked the city’s 10th homicide.
Perez was identified as the suspect during the investigation. Investigators presented their findings to the district attorney’s office and obtained a warrant for Perez’s arrest.

“He is a fugitive from justice and should be considered armed and dangerous,” LPD said in a statement.
