Two of the seven most wanted people this month are people Winnipeg police say are actively pursuing in various criminal investigations.

Garry Bruce was arrested for multiple criminal offenses and later released on several conditions, including appearing in court as instructed. On Sept. 20, 2021 and Nov. 25, 2021, arrest warrants were issued for Bruce for failing to attend his trial, police said.

Hunter Audette is serving his first federal sentence of two years and three months for multiple offenses including possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, uttering threats and assault.

Audette began his statutory release Oct. 20 and a week later a Canada-wide warrant was issued after it was discovered he had violated the conditions of his release, police said.

Lloyd Thompson is serving his second federal sentence of four years and four months for robbery and forcible confinement, police said.

Thompson began his statutory release on December 14 and the next day a Canada-wide warrant was issued after it was discovered he had violated the conditions of his release.

Winnipeg police made several attempts to locate Sarah Sorensen as part of a drug smuggling investigation that yielded negative results. Accordingly, a warrant was issued for Sorensen’s arrest in connection with this investigation.

Ryan Smith was arrested for multiple criminal offenses and later released with several conditions which he agreed to abide by. On Jan. 18, a warrant was issued for Smith’s arrest for violating those terms, police said.

Winnipeg police made several attempts to locate Timmithy Bell as part of a robbery and assault investigation that yielded no results. Accordingly, a warrant was issued for Bell’s arrest in connection with this investigation.

Mitchell Flett is serving his first federal sentence of two years and eight months for multiple offenses including possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, possession of a prohibited firearm while prohibited, and possession of a an Annex I/II substance.

Flett began his statutory release on Dec. 1 and on Jan. 2 a Canada-wide warrant was issued after it was discovered he had violated the terms of his release, police said.
