Two of the eight most wanted people this month are people Winnipeg police say are actively pursuing in various criminal investigations.

Mandy Kornelsen was arrested for multiple criminal offenses and later released on several conditions, including a court appearance and further dates as directed, police said. On July 23 and 31, 2020, arrest warrants were issued for Kornelsen for breaching two of these conditions.

Randall Schaffer was arrested for several criminal offenses and later released on several conditions, including residing at an address provided to the courts. On March 15, an arrest warrant was issued for Schaffer for breaching those terms, police said.

Winnipeg police and CBSA have made multiple attempts to locate Sukhraj Brar as part of an investigation into an assault with a weapon, police said. A warrant has been issued for Brar’s arrest in connection with this investigation.

Trevor Russell is serving his first three-year federal sentence for sexual interference.

Russell began his statutory release on September 1 and just two days later a Canada-wide warrant was issued after it was discovered he had violated the conditions of his release, police said.

Cody Innes was arrested for several criminal offenses, including those related to weapons, then released with several conditions, including court appearance as directed and WPS HQ for fingerprints and photographs, police said. On June 29, 2021 and August 13, 2021, arrest warrants were issued for Innes for failing to appear in court or at the WPS identification office as scheduled.

Winnipeg police have made several attempts to locate Herman Scott amid an investigation into an assault with a weapon in which his eight-month-pregnant ex-girlfriend was seriously assaulted. A warrant has been issued for Scott’s arrest in connection with this investigation, police said.

Joshua Leclerc is serving his first federal sentence of five years and six months for manslaughter.

Leclerc began his statutory release Aug. 4 and 10 days later a Canada-wide warrant was issued after it was discovered he had violated the conditions of his release, police said.

Branden Tanchak was arrested for multiple criminal offenses and later released on several conditions, including appearing in court as instructed, police said. Between September 1 and September 26, a total of four arrest warrants were issued against Tanchak for failing to comply with several of these conditions.
