Springfield Police Arrest Fugitive Using Crime Stoppers Tip
SPRINGFIELD, MO (KY3) –
Springfield police say a Crime Stoppers fugitive is now in custody, thanks to KY3 viewers who have asked for advice. Officers arrested Randal Wayne Boyd less than 24 hours after we ran his picture on the evening news. He is now in the Greene County Jail and is due in Greene County Court tomorrow afternoon. Boyd faces charges of domestic assault, burglary and forgery. The information on the prison reservation indicates that possible charges of theft are pending.
This week’s Crime Stoppers fugitive is Randal Wayne Boyd. He is 46 and faces two arrest warrants for failing to appear in court on domestic abuse charges. Court records show Boyd also faces burglary and forgery charges in Greene County. Springfield police describe him as approximately 5′10″, 195 pounds, red hair and green eyes.
