Viewers’ tips lead to arrest of Greene County fugitive
SPRINGFIELD, MO (KY3) –
A former Greene County fugitive is back behind bars. Police arrested Ronnie McCormack in Springfield this morning. Officers found him less than 24 hours after KY3 introduced the 35-year-old as the Crime Stoppers fugitive. McCormack is charged in Greene County with second-degree burglary.
This week’s Crime Stoppers fugitive is a suspected Greene County burglar. Ronnie McCormack, 35, did not appear in court for second-degree burglary. A warrant for his arrest was issued in July. Springfield police describe McCormack as about 5′09″, 175 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes.
He has a tattoo of the Texas Longhorns logo on his upper right arm and a green pixie on his upper left arm. Investigators believe McCormack is in the Springfield-Greene County area.
